Meet Dr. Arjun Gohil

Dr. Arjun Gohil was born in Philadelphia and was raised in Indiana, but Chicago has always served as a second home throughout his childhood. After high school, Dr. Gohil attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology.

Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Gohil worked for 2 years teaching and tutoring students from grades K-12 before attending Northern Illinois University where he earned a Master of Science (MS) degree that specialized in Human Anatomical Sciences.

Dr. Gohil then decided to move to Indianapolis to pursue his passion in dentistry at the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and was the only student in his class to be awarded the AAE Student Achievement Award in Endodontics.

After dental school, Dr. Gohil completed a one-year hospital-based General Practice Residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago to learn advanced surgical procedures, IV and oral sedation, and help manage and treat patients with complex medical histories and special needs.

Dr. Gohil then decided to further his training by attending a residency program at Indiana University to specialize in the field of Endodontics where he earned a Master of Science (MS) degree and Endodontic Specialty Certificate. Here, he completed research that focused on CBCT-guided endodontic treatment to more predictably overcome challenging cases.

Following all his training, Dr. Gohil chose to return to Chicago and join the team at Lakeview Endodontics to provide high-quality patient-centered care.

Dr. Gohil’s professional affiliations include active membership in the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association.

In his free time, Dr. Gohil enjoys sports and fitness, trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
